Waring Artists Sketch Portraits for a Kinder World

04/9/2020

Waring students helped promote intercultural awareness, friendship, and compassion by once again participating in the Portraits for Kindness Program organized by the Memory Project.

Last year, Waring artists sketched portraits of young Syrian refugees. This year, they created portraits of children facing adverse conditions in former USSR countries.

This spring, the portraits were flown across the Atlantic and shared with the children. This small gesture says that Waring and people around the world care about them and will fight for a better future.
