Every parent or guardian of a Waring student is a automatically a member of the Parents' Group.

Parents' Group Coffees and Teas
Parents' Group hosts coffees and teas throughout the year. These events provide a time and place for parents to meet and discuss topics relevant to their children’s lives, and to learn more about the nuts and bolts of being a Waring parent. Look for the dates on the school's Main Calendar. Details and updates will also be posted on the website and listed in the Waring Weekly email updates.

Parent Education Speaker Series
The Waring community periodically welcomes speakers to Waring. They will present on relevant topics determined by the Waring parents, faculty and administration.
Great Gatherings
Great Gatherings are special events hosted by folks from the Waring community. They are an excellent chance to have fun, meet new people, build community, and try new things–all while supporting Waring. Click here to learn more.

If you are interested in becoming more involved with the Parents' Group or helping out at school, please contact the Parent Group Co-Chairs listed above. Waring School relies on the generous efforts of many people and volunteering is just one way to help out! Whether it is once a week, once a month, or even just a couple of times a year, it is all hugely appreciated!
Admission Liaisons
Support the Director of Admissions throughout the year by helping with Open Schools, Admission Coffees and other admissions related events projects.

Campus Beautification Volunteers
Assist the Facilities Department in beautifying the campus, including planting and maintaining garden beds around campus and helping with other specific projects. Seasonal work may be done collaboratively or independently.

Provide refreshments and/or flowers for events, such as Parent Group Coffees, Tea with Head of School and Curriculum Nights and/or assist with set-up/clean-up.

Waring Wares Liaison
Work with the Advancement Office and fellow volunteers to help promote Waring Wares. Set up and sell Waring Wares to the school community at certain events during the year, such as Convocation, holiday concert, and Angers potluck, Accepted Students visit day, among others.

Auction Committee
Join the Auction Committee and be a part of a dynamic, exciting team of folks who throw the biggest fundraising event for Waring. This year's auction will take place on April 24, 2021.

Great Gathering Support
This community-building social initiative began at Waring in 2014 and has grown stronger and more enjoyable every year. Great Gatherings events are hosted by members of the Waring community and are held throughout the school year. If you like parties and are fairly organized, helping to coordinate the Great Gatherings is the place for you!
