The Cooking Elective hosted a “Take-a-Chance” lunch on Thursday, April 14 in the VH room, raising over $400! The meal consisted of 3 courses. The starters included tomato and basil bruschetta, Eli and Erik’s Killer Broccoli and Cheese Dip, and garden salad with poppy seed dressing. Main courses featured lemon pasta, chicken pot pie, caramelized onion and leek quiche, and Cajun style onion rings. Winners were then treated to brownies, crostata di zucca, and apple crisp for dessert. All proceeds raised benefit the Waring Diversity Scholarship Fund.
