On March 20, Alumna Maggie Sheetz (’12) hosted members of Waring’s Folk Band for a 2-hour recording session at Emerson College in Boston. Maggie is studying Sound Design/Audio Post Production at Emerson, and she was on assignment to record a song with two or more different instruments as a live mix in real time (no editing in post).
Maggie chose as her project the Waring Folk Band (of which she was a key member at Waring). Members in attendance included: Reid Bradshaw ’17, Sarah Bradshaw ’19, Melissa Hollis ’15, Tristan Horan ’17, Gabriella Kenney ’17, Lucy Sinclair ’17, and their leader, Joshua Scott-Fishburn. Also on hand was Riley Hunt ’11, Performing Arts Chair, Tim Bakland, and parents, Lori and Robert Bradshaw, and Donald Kenney.
