Lyn Towne-Smith

Lyn holds a BA in Theatre Arts from New England College and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Special Education. She is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association, serving as a professional stage manager, and is also an active member of the Stage Managers Association, bringing over two decades of experience to her craft.
Lyn’s journey as a theatre educator began in 2000 during her work with the Fall Festival of Shakespeare at Shakespeare & Company, where she discovered her passion for nurturing emerging artists. Since 2009, she has established herself as a sought-after teaching artist throughout the Boston area, having developed and facilitated programs at Fayerweather Street School and Merrimack College.

In 2011, Lyn joined Express Yourself in Beverly, MA, where she continues to mentor young performers while managing the technical and artistic elements that bring theatrical visions to life.
