Joan Sullivan

Joan is Waring’s Math Department Chair. She holds a BA degree in Mathematics from College of the Holy Cross and a MST degree in Mathematics from Boston College. Joan is a strong believer in the power of mathematics – “I know that the study of mathematics requires problem-solving, communication, and analytical thinking and is vital for our our ability to understand and critique the world around us.” – and loves that her students inspire her to be a better teacher each day.

Joan also enjoys spending time with family, skiing, golfing, cooking, knitting, reading mystery novels, solving crossword puzzles, and throwing pottery. Joan joined Waring in 2012.
