Jenna brings a global perspective and a genuine passion for connecting mathematics to the real world. She holds a BA in Economics and Global Environments & Sustainability from the University of Virginia and a Master’s in Education from Boston University. Before joining Waring, she taught middle school math in the Lawrence Public School District, where she was among the top performers for student growth and MCAS achievement for three consecutive years, and served as Grade Level Lead. Her path to teaching wound through Sarajevo and Belgrade, where she worked as a volunteer coordinator with refugees, taught English, and took testimony on border violence—experiences that inform her commitment to service learning and global citizenship. Outside of school, Jenna enjoys trail running to pop culture podcasts, afternoons at coffee shops with a good book, and turning pictures of her dog into reaction stickers.
