Gus comes to Waring from Sugar Bowl Academy in Truckee, California where he taught Calculus, Precalculus, and Algebra II to Olympic ski racers. Gus has a BA in Mathematics from Wesleyan University and played on their varsity lacrosse team. He is also a chess enthusiast. Earlier he was a Venture for America Fellow and worked as a quantitative analyst.
