Emily Daunis

Director of Development

Emily brings 15+ years of advancement leadership across nonprofit, higher education, and cultural institutions to her new role at Waring. She holds a BFA from Lesley University and a certificate in nonprofit management from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, along with additional leadership training through the Kripalu Center. Most recently, she served as Director of Advancement at the Berkshire Natural Resources Council, leading a six-person team and directing fundraising, marketing, and donor engagement strategy. Her earlier roles include Director of Development and Communications at Berkshire United Way, Director of Patron Programs and Donor Engagement at the Clark Art Institute, and Senior Manager of Membership and Special Events at MASS MoCA. Outside of work, Eily has served as an elected member of the North Adams Public Schools Committee and on the city’s Community and Economic Development Advisory Board—civic commitments that reflect her belief in the power of education and community.
