Dan believes that the “teaching of writing and the practice of writing are inseparable” and uses a workshop and discussion-based pedagogy in his teaching. Dan holds an MFA in Creative Writing at BU where he has also taught. Dan also has experience with high school students, having served as Writer-in-Residence at Phillips Academy.
