Christine Trowbridge

Christine is committed to working closely with Waring students and families to provide thoughtful, individualized support during all stages of the college search and application process. Prior to becoming an independent college counselor in 2012, she practiced law in the Boston area, where she specialized in securities law and complex commercial litigation. Chris is the mother of a recent Waring graduate and served as a parent volunteer from 2017-2023. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Tufts University, a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where she was Articles Editor of the Boston University Law Review, and a Certificate in College Counseling from UC San Diego. In her spare time, she enjoys puttering in her garden, walking Crane Beach (particularly in inclement weather), reading just about anything she can get her hands on, and spending time with her family and her two not-terribly-well-behaved dogs.
