Casey Stevens

Casey comes to Waring after spending over a decade researching Chinese literature, history, and religion. He received his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst Commonwealth Honors College before pursuing graduate studies at Harvard, where he received his M.A., and Cornell. Casey has lived in China and Japan, studying both Mandarin and Japanese. He has a passion for poetry and enjoys translating Classical Chinese verse and writing poetry in his spare time. He is also an avid backpacker, who can be found meandering along the trails of New England year-round.
