Alison comes to us from the Taft School (CT) where she was the Director of Environmental Stewardship, teaching Accelerated Biology and AP Environmental Science. Alison has a BS in Biology from Bates College and a MS in Marine Biology from Northeastern University. At Waring, Alison teaches Oceans & Climate part-time and spends the rest of her time at the local environmental non-profit, Salem Sound Coastwatch, working on marine habitat restoration and coastal resilience projects. Oceans & Climate students actively participate in data collection and field studies for these projects.
