Waring’s Talented Music Instructors to Perform Several Summer Gigs

Waring music teachers will be busy in July and August performing at several events.

On July 22 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Cellist Instructor Kristen Miller will perform cello, sing, and share poetry at Hamilton House in South Berwick, ME, as part of the Sundays in the Garden Series.

On July 22 at 8:00 p.m. Tiffany Baxter, chair of Waring’s performing arts department, will perform works of Leonard Bernstein at Annisquam Village Church in Gloucester.

On August 1 at 7:00 p.m. Clarinet Instructor Susan Burnett-Halling will perform with her husband and daughter at the Hatch Shell in Boston as part of the Boston Landmarks Orchestra Concert Series.

On August 2 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Jay Miele, Waring’s Jazz Ensemble Leader, will perform with his band SoulCity at the Crane Estate in Ipswich.

On August 24 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Kristen Miller will again perform as part of a sound-healing meditation at the First Religious Society Unitarian Universalist Church in Newburyport.
