The Waring Cross Country team competed in their first meet of the 2018 campaign at Jericho Forest in Weston.
Ethan Wood crossed the finish line with a third place finish overall in only his second year running for Waring, while veteran runner Will Stomberg placed eighth overall out of 65. Senior Sophia Palumbo led the Waring girls while Cordelia Rozmiarek, and Polly White kept great pace throughout the race.
