Paul Marquis is a 40+ year veteran of construction technology and building science specialties. Beginning as a building contractor, he was an early adopter of green building strategies. Most recently, Paul has been employed as a green building and sustainability consultant and educator, and as the City of Salem's first Energy and Sustainability Manager. He has studied sustainable design at the Boston Architectural College, construction technology at Northeastern University, and mechanical engineering at UMass Amherst. Paul has worn many other hats professionally, including as a woodworker/ cabinetmaker and a software business analyst. pmarquis@waringschool.org
