This week, the National Association of Independent Schools is hosting a Student Diversity Leadership Conference in Tampa, FL. Students from across the country in grades nine-12 have gathered to share dialogue focused on self-reflecting, forming allies, and building community. Waring students Jack Kelly, Alexandra Kenney, and Grace Panetta along with Director of Admissions, Shelley Morgan, are in attendance to share and develop strategies that they can bring back to Waring.
Shelley has tasked our students to “speak with students of color and find out how they got to their school and how they are supported by their school and community”.
