Waring Students Attend New Noises Workshop in Boston

On Thursday, April 14, Reid Bradshaw, Isaac Buxbaum, Ali Estey, Tristan Horan, Christianna Mostue, and David Rowse attended New Noises – a workshop at Boston University Playwrights’ Theatre – where they had the opportunity to meet other area high school students and learn from working theatre artists including Sound and Lighting Designer, David Wilson.

Based on the quality of their submitted work, Ali Estey and Isaac Buxbaum were chosen to collaborate with professional actors and directors who staged their work. Additionally, Christianna Moestue had her play chosen to be read as part of a series of cold readings. New Noises serves as the culminating event for Waring's Playwriting students’ yearlong collaboration with a Playwriting mentor.
