Music for Food Soirée a Huge Success

04/25/2016

On Friday, April 8th, the Waring School Music for Food Soirée raised more than $1,800 to be donated to Beverly Bootstraps. That’s over $400 more than the 2014 concert! According to the Greater Boston Food Bank each dollar can provide three meals for those in need, meaning the Waring community helped provide over 5,400 meals to those in need.

Thanks again to everyone who participated in this event by either attending or donating, your contributions made a huge difference! And thanks to Music for Food student co-chairs Tano Barendsen-Rossi and Sam Lincoln for undertaking this tremendous amount of work and striving to make your community a better place for all.
