Meet John:
John is a member of Waring's Math Department with more than 50 years of teaching experience. John started his career in early-childhood education but quickly transitioning to private curriculum consulting and youth program administration. After just a year, he returned to the classroom, saying, "I felt much better working with kids than working at a desk with a secretary." For 38 years he taught in Ipswich Public Schools before coming to Waring in 2003. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Salem State University and Master of Education degree from Suffolk University. While not teaching, John enjoys music, poetry, and nature walks.
