Camping Trip
Camping Trip is our bridge between the looseness of summer and the structure of school. All of Waring--students and faculty--piles into buses and drives up to Northwoods Camp in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, for four days of traditional and not-so-traditional camping activities. We canoe, swim, build campfires, and hike; but we also discuss the all-school summer reading, write and act out skits, rehearse for a sing-a-long/open mic night, and begin Fall sports practices. Tutorials sleep together in cabins. Camping Trip is our farewell to summer and salutation to the beginning of the school year. |
