Discover your voice: Beyond Waring
Waring School Alumni
Waring School Alumni are an integral part of the Waring community. They represent fully what one Alumni parent said best:
“Beyond the academic excellence, students at Waring acquire an ability to think creatively, self-motivate, and seek opportunities for intellectual growth. Waring transcends the classroom, and exposes students to a world where educational opportunities are limitless.”
Waring alumni visit often, lead All-School Meetings, contribute to Journal, and are a constant and ever-changing connection to the world beyond Waring.
One Waring alum recently received his PhD in Classics at Stanford; another just graduated from the Brown Literary Arts Program, receiving a Masters Degree in Dramatic Writing; yet another graduated from the Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.
Our alums have traveled to the far reaches of the globe. They have worked in schools in Sikkim, India; organized political workshops for women in Algeria; lived in Cairo with Sudanese refugees; and been trained as EMTs on a Kibbutz in Israel.
